Driver Cleaner Pro

dcpro.jpg

Both Nvidia and ATI released new drivers recently, which means most of you will be updating your video drivers. When updating video drivers you usually uninstall the old ones, reboot and then install the new. While this procedure is perfectly acceptable, both ATI and Nvidia recommend using a driver cleaning software to completely wipe out any traces of old drivers. We at Fransatech would like to recommend a freeware call Driver Cleaner Pro. To best utilize a driver cleaning application start by un-installing your current drivers. Then reboot in "Safe Mode", run the application and select the type of drivers you want cleaned, whether it's display drivers from ATI/Nvidia or audio drivers from Creative, etc... Then reboot back in normal mode and you should be ready to install your new drivers.
