Toggle to TV mode w/ nVidia
This guide will show you how to transfer you media center TV feed form your monitor to your TV with a single push of a button, making it a one second process instead of having to manually changing the resolution etc...
If you got your PC hooked up to a high resolution monitor and watch regular cable TV, (non HD), you might find that your Media Center "live TV" and "recorded TV" looks awfully pixilated. Chances are you have also hooked up a non HD TV to your rig through the TV out socket on your graphics card, to remedy this issue. The reason why your TV video feed looks pixilated on your monitor is because the regular TV signal is broadcasted at a resolution of 720x480. Your monitor on the other hand might have a desktop resolution of 1680x1050. Hence, when streaming the TV signal through your monitor you are most likely stretching the image and therefore causing the pixilation. See it as zooming in on a picture or image, once you go beyond actual size, 100%, the image start getting pixilated. Your standard TV on the other hand, operates at a similar resolution as your standard cable. Therefore, by hooking up a TV you're now displaying an actual size image with no pixilation.
To start of go to the nvidia tray icon, right click, select nview desktop manager and then hit nview
properties. Next, under "nView Desktop Manager" click enable,
go to the "Hot Keys" tab and select "Display Mode" in the scroll down menu. Once here, you simply select "Toggle to TV output" and press the "Add..." button. This will bring up a new menu window where you'll choose what hot key to use for switching between TV and monitor. As an example we chose to use "Ctrl + t". All you do is hold down the Ctrl key and then press the T key. Once your hot key is visible in the menu click OK a couple of times and you're done.
The first time you use your hot key, nView will test your TV. Wait for a couple of seconds and press the hot key again, you should now have your desktop displayed on your TV. To switch back simple press your hot key again. This function works well with MCE as well as other forms of video. If you have Netflix you can easily transfer the video on to your TV when streaming movies. Same goes for any video source, youtube, google video etc...

Worthless. Using the hotkey does nothing. Even if the TV is configged properly.
